Terrance Alexander Ward, B.Sc. (Hons) Mining Engineering, M.Sc. Engineering Production, FAUS.IMM FIMMM
Non-Executive Chairman

Terry Ward has enjoyed a distinguished career in mining with vast experience in development, operations, marketing, financial analysis and executive management.  Over a period of eight years he held the positions of Operations Manager and General Manager of Mary Kathleen Uranium Limited, a company in the CRA group (now Rio Tinto).  In the latter part of this period he was also General Manager – Development of the Rudall River (Kintyre) Uranium Project in Western Australia. 

Mr Ward has had extensive experience in Africa as General Manager/Managing Director of Bogoso Gold Limited, and Director General of Mines D’Or D’Akjoujt S.A. He also held the position of Executive Manager, AFL Management Limited, the Manager of the African Lion Limited Fund. 

Mr Ward is currently a consultant with Golden Prospect plc, a London based group which provides capital, corporate finance and stock broking services to the global natural resources sector.  He was appointed a non executive director of Geigar Counter Ltd on 6 June 2006.

John Wilfred Cottle, B.Sc. (Hons) Applied Geology, PhD. Economic Geology and Geostatistics, FAusIMM, Chartered Professional (Geology)
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

John received his PhD. in Economic Geology and Geostatistics in 1976 based on 4 years of investigations and computer analyses of Australian Copper-Lead-Zinc Sulphide Deposits. He has over 30 years experience in exploration, geology, geostatistical reserve estimation, mining, project and corporate analysis, and related computing, of copper, lead, zinc, nickel, alumina, iron ore, gold, coal, uranium, and mineral sands, deposits and producers, both in Australia and Internationally. He is a Fellow, and Chartered Professional - Geology, of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM).

John has contributed to both large and small project exploration, developments, studies, reserve estimates and audits. Prior roles include Exploration Manager and Chief Operating Officer - Panaegis Gold Mines, Corporate Development Manager - Parainga Mining and Exploration PLC, Chief Geologist/Geostatistician - Fluor Australia, and Field Operations Manager - Texasgulf Australia.

Richard Glenn Udovenya, B.Com, LL.B, ASIA, F.Fin
Non-Executive Director

Richard is a Partner of the law firm ResourcesLaw International.  He has over 20 years’ legal experience in Australia and New Zealand and holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Commerce and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment (SIA).  Richard is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia.  Richard’s focus is in the corporate, corporate governance and commercial law areas.  He is the legal advisor to a number of Australian and international corporations. Richard is also a non-executive Director of Australian Seniors Finance Limited and Dart Mining NL (ASX Code: DTM).

Andrew Daley, B.Sc. Mining (Hons)
Non-Executive Director

Andrew worked for several years at a senior management level at Rossing Uranium, Namibia and for Conoco Minerals, a uranium mining and processing company in Niger. He also worked on the Zambian Copperbelt. Relocating to Australia in 1981, Andrew worked on numerous gold, base metals, and coal project studies as a senior engineer with Fluor Australia. Since late 1983 he has specialised in the resources finance sector, holding the positions of executive director and state manager of National Australia Bank’s Investment Bank, Sydney, head of Barclays Australia’s resource team in Sydney, head of Chase Manhattan’s project finance team in Melbourne and more recently director of Barclays Capital mining team in London.

He is a director of Investor Resources Finance Pty. Ltd., Melbourne, a corporate advisory firm specialising in the resources sector. He is also a non-executive director of Gladstone Pacific Nickel Ltd., an AIM, London, listed company, Pan Australian Resources Ltd, Kentor Gold Ltd and Chairman of Dragon Mining Limited and Minerva Resources plc (an AIM, London, listed company.

Bianca Manzi, B.Sc (Hons) Geology, MAIG
Non-Executive Director

Bianca Manzi has over twelve years experience in the exploration and mining industry. Ms Manzi has been an employee of IMX Resources since 2003 and became the Exploration Manager in January 2007.
Prior to joining IMX Resources, Ms Manzi held exploration geologist positions with companies including Wiluna Mines Ltd, Normandy Exploration Pty Ltd and Newmont Australia Pty Ltd.

Tim Riley
Technical General Manager, Exploration and Project Development

Tim Riley received a BSc (Hons) in Geology from Birmingham University in 1979, and an MSc Mining Geology from the Camborne School of Mines in 1982.   He has enjoyed a 29 year career on 3 continents, including 8 years in Africa (South Africa and Ghana) focused mainly on gold and platinum exploration and development.   This period, ended with Tim in the position of Chief Geologist Platinum Exploration for Gencor, a precursor to BHP Billiton.  

Tim then returned to Europe to work mainly in Industrial Minerals, finishing up as Area Operations Manager for a major quarrying company.   More recently, Tim relocated to Australia where he spent 10 years at the Mt Keith Nickel Operation (WMC / BHP Billiton). Six years of this time were spent as Geology Superintendent before moving on to spend four years on mining efficiency projects, including time as Metallurgical Superintendent.

John has in excess of 30 years experience in accounting and finance in a broad range of industries including 15 years in resource related companies.  He has previously held the position of Secretary for several publicly listed companies.
